Our club is for those with an interest in Amateur Radio and Shortwave Listening in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes areas of North East Lincolnshire.

The Society encourages the use of good operating practices and procedures when on air.

We are always looking to recruit new members, be they accomplished Amateur licence holders, or those looking to get started in the hobby and gaining their licence.

We meet every Thursday at the Cromwell Social Club on Cromwell Road in Grimsby from 7.30pm,

fixed events are held at The New Sunnyside Club in Cleethorpes

The first Thursday being the meeting night and the others are general "natter" nights or "speaker" nights when guests are invited to give talks on various parts of the Amateur Radio hobby, members also take part in contest and special events stations

Grimsby Amateur Radio Society was formed in the 1930's, over the years we have held our meetings at various places but for the last 30 years we have held our meeting at the Cromwell Social Club, were the meetings are held in the upstairs room.

Membership is by proposal of a fully paid up member of the Society.

The Society is affiliated to the Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB)
